My Stories
I love to read! It is probably my favorite pastime to do on my own.
As you might expect, this also means that I am interested in writing!
Here are some stories that I have written. I have quite a few others that I am working on.
These stories are my original works.
The Goel (Won 3rd Pace in the 2023 Writing Contest at NSU)
Assignment (Honorable Mention in 2022 Writing Contest at the Muskogee Public Library)
Perception (Won 3rd Place in 2022 Writing Contest at NSU)
Seminary
Experience Points (XP)
What are they?
Experience Points (XP) are a fun way to track and reward your Seminary Experiences this semester! You can earn XP in several different ways (see below.) At the end of the semester, all students will have the opportunity to choose a unique prize! The student with the most XP will choose first, and so on.
How do you earn them?
- Attend class: 5 XP each day (2.5 XP for partial attendance (arrive late or leave early))
- Quick Questions (in-class questions and answers): Varies (this is the cash cow)
- Submit a Question: Varies (depending on your question) Do you have a question? Submit it!
- Complete readings: 50 XP for each reading
- Book of Mormon Stories (the app or the website): Your score in the game divided by 10
- Doctrinal Mastery: Each different mini-game provides you with a different amount of points.
- Bring a friend to class: 10 XP each day (5 XP for a partial day)
- Say "hi" to me before/after sacrament meeting: 10 XP each week (make sure I mark it!)
- Read and Summarize: Varies (depending on how challenging the reading was and how good your summary was and how many people did that same reading before you.)
- Bear a good testimony on Fast Sunday: 50 XP each time
- Play ComeFollowMedle: 5 XP for each one you got
- Bonus: Varies (basically, if you do something awesome)
How many XP do I have?
You can see everyone's current XP here! (Note: Some XP, such as those from the app, aren't added until the end of the semester.)
If you have suggestions for more ways to earn XP, please let me know!
